Russia retains 7.5 kilometres biathlon relay title

STOCKHOLM, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- Russia retained its men's 4x7.5km relay title at the biathlon world championships in Ostersund, Sweden on Saturday.

The Russians beat Norway by 42 seconds while Germany took the bronze, 1minute 49 sec adrift.

The Russian quartet dominated from the outset and led at the first changeover with their superb shoot in, giving them the edge over their rivals.
