PARIS, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- Andy Murray of Britain made the final of the Marseille Open ATP tournament with a 6-2, 6-2 win over France's Paul-Henri Mathieu on Saturday.

Murry, who ranked 11th in the world, will meet the winner in the final between Marcos Baghdatis and Mario Ancic after his quick semifinal victory in one hour and two minutes.

"This was without doubt one of my best matches since my return from injury," said Murray who suffered elbow and wrist injuries last year.

Murray started strongly by breaking the home favorite and served to went up 2-0.

From 3-1, the Briton broke Mathieu's serve a second time and served out to take the opener 6-2.

In the second set, Murray continued his momentum and reeled off three consecutive games to take again a commanding advantage.

Both players traded games without incident to leave the scores at 4-2 but Murray broke again to wrap up the next two games in quick succession and walk out a winner into Sunday's final.
