NEW YORK, Nov 20 (Reuters) - Tony Parker scored 31 points and made nine assists to lead the NBA champion San Antonio Spurs to a 95-83 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday.
Manu Ginobili added 19 points for the Spurs but the Argentine Olympic champion said Parker had been the difference between the two sides.
"He got to the basket and made plays that only he can make," said Ginobili. "Atlanta was worried about our shooting from the perimeter, so it opened up the lane for him. He's so fast that he's hard to contain. He was the difference for us."
Joe Johnson led Atlanta with 20 points, while Marvin Williams scored 16 despite playing with a case of food poisoning.
The Dallas Mavericks rallied from a 24-point deficit -- the largest Dallas have overturned to win a game in regulation time -- to record a 105-99 win over the Toronto Raptors.
Dirk Nowitzki scored a season-high 32 points, including four three-pointers in the final two minutes of the third quarter that gave Dallas the lead they never relinquished.
Chris Bosh scored 31 points for Toronto.
Michael Redd scored 34 points and had seven rebounds and six assists as the Milwaukee Bucks recorded an 111-107 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, their first victory in their last eight meetings -- a streak stretching back to 2005.
LeBron James had 34 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for the Cavaliers.
Kobe Bryant scored 32 points to guide the Los Angeles Lakers to a 134-114 victory over the Indiana Pacers.
The Lakers were shorthanded after trading forward Brian Cook and swingman Maurice Evans to the Orlando Magic for forward Trevor Ariza, who did not arrive in time to play.
