According to the Qingdao Morning Post, in an effort to facilitate Paralympians and tourists with a disability during the Beijing 2008 Olympic sailing competition, the local transportation administration will introduce 20 barrier-free taxies in the Olympic co-host city.

The cost of a ride in the barrier-free taxi will remain the same as in the common taxi.
