(Photo credit: cnsphoto)(BEIJING, February 10) -- The "New Beijing, Great Olympics" Beijing 2008 Olympic Photo Exhibition was opened in Vancouver, Canada on Saturday. Vancouver is the host city of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The three-week exhibition is expected to attract great interest among the local audiences. Over 200 people attended the opening ceremony. Canadian International Trade Minister David Emerson, who jointly cut the ribbon with Chinese Consul General Yang Qiang, said Canadians not only need to see Beijing from the media, but also need to go to Beijing to see what happens there. The exhibition was on a world tour. The 80 photos on display depict an old and modern Beijing, including its culture and arts, and highlight the residents' preparations for the upcoming Olympic Games.
