JAKARTA, Feb. 19, (Xinhua) -- Indonesian parliament speaker Agung Laksono expressed full support to the Beijing Olympic Games when he met Luo Haocai, visiting Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), here on Tuesday. "We hope that the coming Beijing Olympic Games will be hold with big success," said Agung. "Indonesia received persistently supports from the Chinese government and parliament in holding international conferences and handling other issues. In the same way we also support China," he said. Agung said he was satisfied with developments of Sino-Indonesian full-scaled relationship in the recently years, especially cooperation in investment and trade. He said, the strategic partnership between Indonesia and China, both big countries in Asia, will play positive roles in keeping peace and prosperity in the region. Luo thanked Agung for Indonesia's support to the Beijing Olympic Games. He said he hoped the two sides will achieve win-win development according with the interests of the two countries and two peoples. China and Indonesia signed strategic partnership in 2005. The volume of bilateral trade on 2007 has exceeded 25 billion U.S. dollar.
