(BEIJING, Feb. 24) -- During the Olympic equestrian competition, the Hong Kong Observatory will try its best to give accurate weather forecasts. A special measuring system is equipped to forecast weather during the specific period. As to disastrous weather such as typhoons, emergency measures will be adopted. Furthermore, the working staff will be sent to Beijing and Qingdao to carry out forecasting work and get more knowledge about the local weather.
